Description
Discover why these are the ‘Best’! Perfectly crispy turkey turkey bacon, fresh veggies, and our renowned secret sauce, a blend of mayo, Dijon, and garlic, create an unforgettable wrap experience.
Ingredients
- Large flour tortillas: 4-6 count
- Turkey Bacon: 8-10 slices
- Romaine lettuce: 4-6 large leaves, washed and dried
- Tomatoes: 2 medium, thinly sliced
- Mayonnaise: 1/2 cup
- Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
- Dijon mustard: 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook the turkey bacon. Place the turkey bacon slices in a large skillet over medium heat and cook until crispy. Remove the turkey bacon, drain on paper towels, and once cooled, crumble or break into smaller pieces.
- Step 2: Prepare the "secret sauce." In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and smooth.
- Step 3: Prepare the fresh ingredients. Ensure your romaine lettuce leaves are washed and thoroughly dried. Slice your tomatoes thinly and set aside.
- Step 4: Assemble the wraps. Lay each tortilla flat. Spread a generous amount of the secret sauce evenly over the entire surface of each tortilla.
- Step 5: Layer the fillings. On top of the sauce, place 1-2 large romaine lettuce leaves, followed by a layer of sliced tomatoes, and then sprinkle the crumbled turkey bacon pieces over the tomatoes.
- Step 6: Roll and serve. Tightly roll each tortilla from one end to the other, tucking in the sides as you go to create a secure wrap. Slice the wraps in half diagonally before serving.
Notes
- For best results, store the secret sauce, cooked turkey bacon, and fresh vegetables separately in airtight containers in the fridge, assembling just before serving to prevent sogginess.
- These wraps are truly best enjoyed fresh and don't typically reheat well; if you've stored components separately, only crisp up the turkey turkey bacon again if desired, otherwise, serve at room temperature.
- These delicious wraps are fantastic on their own, but for a complete meal, consider pairing them with a simple side salad, some crispy sweet potato fries, or a cup of your favorite soup.
- For the ultimate BLT wrap experience, make sure your romaine lettuce is bone dry after washing and slice your tomatoes as thinly as possible; this prevents a watery wrap and ensures every bite is perfectly textured.
