Description
Unlock perfectly juicy, garlic-kissed steak bites in your air fryer! Sirloin cubes, seasoned with paprika, cook fast for a tender, quick dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin steak or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Step 1: Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes. Pat them very dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear. In a medium bowl, toss the steak bites with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
- Step 2: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes. Arrange the seasoned steak bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd it. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Step 3: Air fry the steak bites for 6-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking. For medium-rare, cook for 6-8 minutes; for medium, 8-10 minutes. Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model and desired doneness.
- Step 4: While the steak cooks, melt the unsalted butter in a small microwave-safe bowl or saucepan. Stir in the minced garlic until well combined.
- Step 5: Once the steak bites are cooked to your liking, transfer them to a clean bowl. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the steak and toss gently to coat. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Leftover steak bites can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, though they're definitely best enjoyed fresh!
- To revive leftover bites, gently reheat them in a pan over medium-low heat or a preheated air fryer at 300°F (150°C) for just a few minutes until warmed through, being careful not to overcook and dry them out.
- These juicy steak bites are fantastic on their own, but truly shine when served alongside a crisp green salad, fluffy mashed potatoes, or roasted asparagus for a complete and delightful meal.
- For the best sear and most tender results, always pat your steak cubes very dry before seasoning, and remember to air fry in a single layer to allow for proper air circulation and even cooking.
